PDS-Nepal launches its new office in Birtnagar

Public Defender Society of Nepal (PDS-Nepal) launched its seventh office in Biratnagar on 10^th October. Organizing a program at the hall of High Court Biratnagar, launch of PDS-Nepal Biratnagar office was formally announced. The program was attended by Judges of High Court namely Bidur Bikram Thapa, Shiv Raj Adhikari, Balendra RupakhPeti, Krishna Lal Bhattarai, Rishi Prasad Adhikari, Sita Ram Mandal, Subhash Poudel, and Hari Prasad Poudel. Government Attorneys including Chiranjeevi Parajuli, Ram Pyakurel, Sudarshan Niroula, Punya Prasad Pathak, Rohit Kumar Pokhrel, Padam Wasti were also present on the occasion. Legal Director of PDS-Nepal Surya Bahadur Pandey conducted the program while the Executive Director Ajay Shankar Jha "Rupesh" delivered his welcome speech and informed the gathering about PDS-Nepal, its programs, objectives and vision. Judge Bidur Bikram Thapa, Government Attorney Chiranjeevi Parajuli and Hari Narayan Choudhary from Nepal Bar Association extended their best wishes to PDS-Nepal and hoped that PDS-Nepal will continue its endeavor of providing meaningful legal representation to the indigent people of Morang district.
